I am an advocate of a woman’s right to choose in all areas of her life - most particularly in the process of her pregnancy.

The media is filled with exaggerations and myths about birth. Together with well meaning family members and friends, an enormous fear of birthing is instilled in many pregnant women.

Having a baby is a life changing event, especially the first time. I would like to make this experience as positive as possible, making it empowering and one that you will cherish.

As a doula, I provide the following services:

• Emotional and physical support before, during and after the birth
• 24 hour on call service around the time of your birth
• One constant professional female presence from the beginning till the end of your birth
• If necessary, a professional mediator between you and the hospital staff providing unbiased information
